Dr. Niranjan Kumar is a global biopharma leader with more than 35 years of experience advancing biologics, vaccines, biosimilars and cell & gene therapies from discovery to commercial launch. Launched numerous blockbuster drugs globally.

As the founding force behind Absnovacell Biopharmaceuticals, Dr. Kumar integrates scientific innovation, manufacturing excellence and strategic leadership to accelerate the development and delivery of transformative therapies worldwide.

He has led end-to-end product development, authored regulatory submissions for FDA/EMA approvals and directed $200M+ in cGMP facility buildouts and technology transfers. His initiatives have achieved up to 50% yield improvements and 40% cost reductions through Lean Six Sigma Methodologies.

A proven deal-maker and growth strategist, Dr. Kumar has successfully raised capital, executed licensing and partnership agreements and driven business development initiatives across the global biopharmaceutical landscape.

Combining scientific depth with business acumen from Wharton Business School, he guides Absnovacell’s global strategy, R&D, commercialization and investment roadmap—building diverse, high-performing teams focused on innovation, quality and patient impact.
